Intermap ORI product is a raster imagery product with terrain information captured at a 0.625-meter resolution. It is generated using Intermap's STAR technology (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar), which is mounted to an aircraft. The ORI data files are digital representations of the radar response signal and is spatially coincident with the DSM and DTM data. These ORI products represent the first reflective surface as illuminated by the radar. Accuracy statements are based on areas of moderate terrain. Diminished accuracies are to be expected in areas of extreme terrain and dense vegetation. The ORI is stored as a contiguous dataset spanning continental land masses where we have captured data. It is available in specific areas of interest or in 15-minute by 15-minute tile areas. The NEXTMap ORI products are derived using Intermap Technologies' STAR-3 airborne Interferometric SAR data acquisition system. The data for this tile was captured at 28000 feet above mean sea level with a primary look direction of West and the swaths with IDs 9, 14, 47 and 54. ORI products represent what is captured by the radar. Most incidents of missing data are due to radar shadow and layover in high-relief areas such as mountainous regions and highly developed urban areas and correspond to the look direction of the radar. Areas where null data occurs within an image, such as shadows, are assigned the value 0. Areas where the sensor could not resolve the return signal are assigned the value 1.
