LIDAR-derived binary (.las) files containing classified points of all returns. We have seven (7) classifications Unclassified, Ground, Low Noise, Water, Ignore Ground, Bridge Decks and High Noise. The files are delivered in section formatted tiles. These files adhere to the National Enhanced Elevation Assessment (NEEA) Quality Level 2 standards, two points or greater per square meter. These files are delivered in tile format (3000x3000ft).
<purpose>LiDAR terrain mapping to the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB) for all or portions of Weld, Morgan, Adams, Arapahoe, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, El Paso, Lincoln, Pueblo, Otero, Las Animas, and Huerfano Counties. Represents a high-resolution data set of lidar for an Area of Interest (AOI) totaling approximately 18,348.89 square miles. The Colorado South AOI requires Quality Level Two (QL2) deliverable products and is approximately 5505 square miles and 17,602 3000 by 3000ft tiles.</purpose>

<procdesc>Lidar data was collected using Optech Galaxy sensor. The raw data was verified in MARS software for complete coverage of the project area, and boresighted to align the flightlines. Raw data files were parsed into manageable client-specific tiles. These tiles were then processed through automated filtering that separates the data into different classification groups: unclassified points, ground points, low noise, water, ignored ground, bridge decks and high noise. The data was next taken into MARS to reclassify the erroneous points that may remain in the lidar point cloud after auto filter. Two points per square meter (QL2).</procdesc>
