A GPS control network was performed for the purposes of establishing a three-dimensional coordinates on each of the base station locations. The control network included a combination of a National Geodetic Survey (NGS) Control Monument (MOB AP STA A1), National Geodetic Survey (NGS) CORS (AL84, AL90, AL92, ALDI, ALM) ,Mobile Control Monuments (MCC1062, MCC1067, MCC1070, MCC1072, MCC1073, MOB1000, MOB1008, MOB1009, MOB1011, MOB1023, MOB1031, MOB1034) and a capped iron found (CIPF).     -  LiDAR Calibration:Initial processing of the GPS data was processed using Inertial Explorer. The solution file was generated and ALSPP software was used to generate georeferenced laser returns which were then processed in strip form allowing for the QC of the overlap between strips (lines).  The data from each line were combined and automated classification routines run to determine the initial surface model.  This initial surface model was then verified to the LiDAR test points.
   
LiDAR Classification:  The calibrated LiDAR data was run through automated classification routines and then manually checked.  The data was classified into the following classes:  1-unclssified, 2-ground, 3-lowpoints/noise, 9-water</procdesc><procdate>20140611</procdate><procsv>nertial Explorer 8.5, ALSPP 2.75, TerraScan 14.015, TerraModel 14.002, TerraMatch 14.007, GeoCue 2013.1.45</procsv></procstep></lineage><logic>Topological integrity of the data was validated using the validation tools in ESRI's ArcGIS 10.1.</logic><cloud>0</cloud><attracc><qattracc><attraccv>Projection Consistency</attraccv><attracce>Global Mapper ver.11.02 was used to validate that the correct projection information was applied to each image.</attracce></qattracc><qattracc><attraccv>File Format</attraccv><attracce>Image Station Raster Utility - Display Header application was used to validate file format parameters such as:
4-band, 8-bits per band (RGBI), and pixel readout starts in northwest corner as (0,0).</attracce></qattracc><attraccr>All work was done in cordination with Mobile County Contract.</attraccr></attracc><posacc><vertacc><vertaccr>LiDAR Vertical Accuracy of the bare-earth data was assessed and reported in accordance with the guidelines developed by the NDEP and subsequently adopted by the ASPRS;
        -	FVA&lt;= 0.60 ft ACCZ, 95% (030 ft RMSEZ)
        -	CVA&lt;= 0.80 ft ACCZ, 95% (0.41 ft RMSEZ)
        -	SVA&lt;= 0.80 ft ACCZ, 95% (0.41 ft RMSEZ)
Ninety-Five (111) surveyed points were measured for the purpose of assessing the accuracy of the Mobile County data.

Tested 0.457 US Survey Foot Consolidated Vertical Accuracy (CVA) at ninety-five percent confidence level, using RMSE(z) x 1.9600.
