Ground control will be supplemented by Airborne Global Positioning/Inertial Measurement Unit or AGPS/IMU solution and processing techniques. In order to ensure consistency with past projects, horizontal and vertical control for the aerial survey and derivative products was based on the existing High Accuracy Reference Network (HARN). The two stations used were SANTAIR FO1673 and MORIAIR 2 EQ1151 with the most up to date NGS values for these stations.
New control was added as needed which was determined by the project photogrammetrist.
Project control report was revised October 27, 2014. Monuments were re-observed using OPUS solution reports for 14-344-2, 14-344-03, 14-344-06 and reset for 14-344-01R, 14-344-04R. Previous values on the above monuments are superseded. 14-344-05, 14-344-10 and 14-344-22 are VOID. Previous published value for 14-344-21 was verified and validated by second observation.

Project control specifications were processed in units of US Survey Feet; horizontal datum – NAD83(92); vertical datum – NAVD88; projection – Transverse Mercator; State Plane New Mexico Central Zone (3002); basis of bearing – Grid Bearings.
Field Methodology: OPUS solution, fast static, RTK, published control values.
Equipment used: Trimble GPS equipment (R8 dual frequency receivers).
