Independent check points were established to provide for vertical accuracy testing of LiDAR Digital Elevation Model (DEM) product developed under the 2014 Santa Fe County LiDAR project.
Process_Step:
Process_Description:
Project control specifications were processed in units of US Survey Feet; horizontal datum – NAD_83(2011)(EPOCH:2010.0000); vertical datum – NAVD88(GEOID12B HGT); projection – Transverse Mercator; State Plane New Mexico Central Zone (3002); basis of bearing – Grid Bearings. Field Methodology: Static
GPS Observations for OPUS Projects. Equipment used: Trimble GPS equipment (R8 dual frequency receivers). Final output: NGS OPUS-PROJECTS NETWORK SOLUTION REPORT.
Process_Date: 20161021
Process_Step:
Process_Description:
Results from the OPUS Projects solution were formatted into comma-separated values (CSV) document/spreadsheet. Easting and Northing (x,y) coordinates in the project coordinate reference system (CRS)—EPSG:2903—were derived from longitude latitude values using OGR (OGR Simple Features Library) and added to the CSV. A shapefile (point geometry) in the project CRS was produced from the CSV using OGR.
