This dataset may be available for public distribution, information regarding the use of this dataset should be directed to the Consortium.</useconst><datacred>Sonoma County, QSI</datacred><thelayid><numthlay>1</numthlay><layrname><theme><themekt>None</themekt><themekey>Ground check points</themekey></theme></layrname></thelayid></idinfo><dataqual><logic>Ground Check Point (GCP) positions were collected on bare earth locations such as paved, gravel, or stable dirt roads, and other locations where the ground was clearly visible (and was likely to remain visible) from the sky during the data acquisition.  GCP measurements were not taken on highly reflective surfaces such as center line stripes or lane markings on roads.  For Real Time Kinematic (RTK) collection, a Trimble R7 base unit was set up over an appropriate monument to broadcast a kinematic correction to a roving R8 unit.  The roving unit records precise location measurements with a standard deviation error of ≤ 1.5 cm relative to the base control. All acquisition occurs during optimal GNSS conditions (e.g., 6 or more satellites and a Position Dilution of Precision [PDOP] below 3.0). Daily forecasts from Trimble Planning software ensure that these conditions are met.</logic><complete>GCP's may not be equitably distributed throughout the study area. GCP's are located only in open terrain (sand, rock, dirt, asphalt, concrete, etc.) where there is a high probability that the sensor will have detected the ground surface without influence from surrounding vegetation or other above ground structures (i.e. power lines, buildings, etc.).
